　　在紐約進(jìn)行屋頂花園設計時(shí)，如何處理開(kāi)放性與私密性的平衡關(guān)系是一個(gè)非常棘手的問(wèn)題，但該項目的景觀(guān)設計師卻采用了動(dòng)態(tài)的處理手法：垂直方向的景觀(guān)元素功能良好--豐富的細節處理、簡(jiǎn)潔的材質(zhì)，使這里有很多美麗的空間可以供人停留和享受。

　　It is very tricky to balance the senses of openness and enclosure when designing rooftop gardens in New York City, but this landscape architect has even added a fresh take on movement. The vertical elements work well, it's beautifully detailed, the materials are simple, and there are lots of nice places to sit and enjoy.

　　An urban roofscape that celebrates the spectacle of the city, the Unfolding Terrace negotiates the scale of the city's industrial landscape of infrastructure with the atmosphere of the garden living space. The decked surface folds across the roof, organizing program by creating constructed volumes of space. With a site specific commissioned poetry wall, the roofscape points to a new idea of nature in the city - mediated by culture and artistic interpretation.
